The gymnastic camps of the German Gymnastics Federation DTB are very successful for the athletes and coaches since ten years. For the first time the federation organizes a camp for athletes in rhythmic gymnastics this year. At the same when the European Championships take place there will be this first camp in Bremen, too. 30 girls aged between eleven and 17 years then train their sport and enjoy an exciting supporting program.

The camp focuses on training that athletes enjoy and where they learn new things with each other and of each other. So they increase their gymnastic skills and become more self-assured. In all, 60 young gymnasts were interested in participating in this first camp. Unfortunately, the DTB could only admit 30 young women from all over Germany including advanced athletes and talented beginners. All of them are highly motivated.

Highlight European Championships

The connection of the camp with the European Championships will be an unforgettable experience for the participants. They are going to watch certain competitions, where they will have to complete theoretical tasks. Furthermore, they will have the possibility to experience the backstage area and accompany the gymnasts to interviews and autograph sessions.
